MICHELLE WRIGHT

THE MAKING OF DO RIGHT BY ME RADIO SPECIAL

The roots of Michelle Wright's success are out in the open again with the August 24th re-release of her 1988 debut album, Do Right By Me. The strength of those roots — and the singer's own strength — is self-evident in every song. With over 42,000 units sold, the original Do Right By Me was a major hit in Canada for its time: it gave Michelle the first hits she ever had — no less than seven in Canada — and it led to her first U.S. record contract, still more hits, and a career that continues to bring her in front of audiences around the world.

We're celebrating the re-release of Do Right By Me with a one-hour radio special, The Making of Do Right By Me. Hosted by Michelle, the special features 39 minutes of music - including all 11 Cancon songs from Do Right By Me - and nine minutes of Michelle's fascinating, behind-the scenes stories about the circumstances surrounding the making of the album.

Not everything that's old becomes new again, but this classic country record sounds as fresh, lively, and exciting as it did when it was originally made. In fact, remastered and repackaged, Do Right By Me sounds and looks even more crisp and fresh than it did the first time around. Let your listeners hear about this most welcome re-release.
